The Kettle

I enjoyed painting
"Keeping the Home Fires Burning" so much that I decided to paint the kettle using a limited palette.
This is an 8"x8" acrylic on wrapped canvas.

Fire Still Burning

Here is the finished painting. Below is the photo of the source.
I had a difficult time showing the glow of the fire. I think it will be fun to challenge myself with painting fire.

Little Buddy

Animal
6"x8"
Watercolor
This antelope was hanging out with the one I posted below so I gathered that they had to be best buddies.
For some odd reason they liked to stay under the huge electrical lines. I decided they enjoyed the hum they give off, or it could be that they like to be in big open areas. Fun to watch.

Big Buddy

Animal
7"x10"
Watercolor

The Antelope live and thrive on the open fields in Arizona. They are swift animals, so fun to watch run.
This watercolor is unmatted and can be found for sale on my dailypaintworks.com site.

Artichokes in Bloom

Floral
6.75x23.75
Oil on panel canvas

This is one of my first oils. When artichokes bloom, they look like big thistles. Amazing!
